Unidentified traumatic brain injuries affect children and adults, civilians and soldiers. These injuries can lead to conditions such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. Affected adults are more likely to commit suicide, while children tend to have learning disabilities and social problems. Wayne Gordon, Ph.D., lays out these problems and suggests ways in which we can improve care.
